Myco wins Innovation award at Food Manufacture Excellence Awards 2025
Myco has won the Innovation Award at the prestigious Food Manufacture Excellence Awards 2025 for our pioneering plant-based protein product, Hooba.
The award celebrates the most forward-thinking brands in the food and drink industry. Judges praised Hooba for its sustainable protein innovation, versatility, and potential to transform the way consumers and manufacturers approach meat-free alternatives.
Made using oyster mushrooms and five other store cupboard ingredients, Hooba is designed to help food producers reduce their environmental impact without compromising on taste or texture, and is already gaining traction in both foodservice and retail markets, thanks to its incredible meat-like qualities and clean-label appeal.
